RECOM Launches Mentorship Programme

If you ask most people studying for their CIMG (Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana) qualification what they wish they had, the answer is rarely “more content.” It’s someone to talk to. Someone who has already done this, who can tell them if they’re on track, and who can help them see past the exam to what comes after it.

That gap is what RECOM’s new Mentorship Programme is built to close.

Rumis Engage College of Marketing (RECOM) has launched a structured, three-month Mentorship Programme for learners across CIMG Pathways 3, 4, 5, and 6. It is led by RECOM’s Founder and President, Amin Ayarnah, together with experienced industry practitioners who have themselves earned Chartered status and professional marketing qualifications, both in Ghana and internationally.

"Learners have been asking for this for a long time," said Amin Ayarnah, Founder and President of RECOM. "Studying for a professional qualification can be a lonely process. You can have the best recorded lectures in the world, but at some point, people need a person, not just content. That is the gap we kept hearing about, and it's one that tuition centres in this space have not really addressed. This programme is our answer to that."

Each learner is paired with a mentor for three one-on-one sessions and a group session over three months, an honest starting conversation, a midpoint check-in, and a final send-off before the exam, with ongoing support by WhatsApp and email in between. It is built around two things learners consistently say they need: confidence that they are actually prepared, and clarity about where the qualification is taking them.

The Mentorship Programme joins RECOM’s existing learner support offerings, including 24/7 recorded lectures, a Study Now Pay Later payment option, and the RECOM Marketing Talent Fellowship (RMTF), launched with CIMG in March 2026.
